740 suspects arrested in nationwide anti-drug drive

Sri Lanka Police arrested 740 suspects yesterday (Aug. 13) under the “A Nation United – National Drive” campaign targeting narcotics-related offences.

Police stated that investigations into illegal assets have been initiated against one suspect, while detention orders are being sought for 08 others.

Four suspects have also been referred for rehabilitation.
