2025/2026 Uni. admission ends today

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced that registration for students who have qualified for university admission for the 2025/2026 academic year closes today (Aug. 14).

Students can complete their registration online via www.ugc.ac.lk until midnight today.

The UGC said appeals regarding the university to which a student has been allocated, or any other related matter, can be submitted until Aug. 21.

Several universities are expected to commence academic activities during the first few weeks of September following the completion of the registration process.

The 2025/2026 university cut-off marks were released during the first week of August.
