Close relative of Kanjipani Imran shot dead in Maligawatte

A close relative of underworld figure Kanjipani Imran has been shot dead in Sangharaja Mawatha, Maligawatte, Colombo, Police said.

Two individuals who arrived on a motorcycle had allegedly opened fire at the victim, who had later succumbed to injuries.

Police have launched investigations to identify and arrest the suspects involved in the shooting.
