Showers to continue across several provinces today

Several spells of showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-western provinces and in the Galle, Matara, Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya districts today (July 03), the Department of Meteorology stated.

A few showers may occur in the Anuradhapura district.

Meanwhile, strong winds of about 40-50kmph can be expected at times over the Western slopes of the central hills, Northern, North-central and North-western provinces and in the Hambantota and Trincomalee districts.
