Harish Shankar, a celebrated name in Telugu cinema, is turning a new page in his career. Known for his directorial hits like “Gabbar Singh” and “Gaddalakonda Ganesh,” Harish recently faced a setback with his film “Mr. Bachchan,” which didn’t perform well at the box office. Despite high expectations, the film didn’t replicate the success of his previous remakes, marking a challenging phase in his career.
Undeterred by this, Harish is exploring a new avenue: acting. Although he’s made brief cameo appearances in the past, this time he’s taking on a more substantial role. Harish Shankar is set to act in the upcoming film “O Bhamma Ayyo Rama,” directed by Ram Godhala and presented by Daggubati Rana. The film features Suhas and Malavika Manoj, known for her role in the Tamil hit “Joe,” and is currently in its final stages of production, with a summer release planned.
