Opposition to discuss judges’ retirement age proposal
Leaders of opposition political parties are scheduled to meet this afternoon (July 23) to discuss defeating the government’s proposal to extend the retirement age of judges.
It was previously reported that United National Party (UNP) leader Ranil Wickremesinghe would also join the initiative.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at the Opposition Leader’s Office at Sir Marcus Fernando Mawatha, Colombo 07.
