Sri Lanka’s export earnings surpass $9 bn. in first half of 2026

Sri Lanka’s total export earnings exceeded $9 billion during the first half of 2026, according to official estimates.

Combined merchandise and services exports reached USD 9.01 billion during this period.

The figure marks an 8% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
