4 suspects in Physiotherapist murder further remanded
The 04 individuals remanded in connection with the murder of a female physiotherapist have been further remanded.
The suspects, who were held in remand custody, were produced before the Nuwara Eliya Magistrate’s Court yesterday (July 16) by prison officials.
After considering the facts presented, Nuwara Eliya Magistrate Pushpika Jayadasa ordered that the suspects be remanded until July 30.
The remanded individuals include the main suspect, his wife, a driver attached to the Kundasale Pradeshiya Sabha, and the former OIC of the Menikhinna Police, a Chief Inspector of Police.
