Consultation meeting held to strengthen aquaculture in SL
A consultation meeting was held in Colombo on Tuesday (July 14)
to support the formulation of the project proposal, “Promoting Sustainable Aquaculture Production through Improved Aquatic Organism Health Management and Practices,” under the FAO–China South-South Cooperation Programme.
The consultation fostered dialogue among key stakeholders to identify priorities and strengthen partnerships for advancing sustainable aquaculture, improved aquatic organism health management, and resilient agrifood systems in Sri Lanka.
Government institutions, academia, development partners, and representatives from the aquaculture sector participated in the meeting.
