Head-on bus collision in Matara injures over 20 (Pics)

A head-on collision between 02 private buses has occurred on Vajira Wansa Mawatha along the Matara–Talalla Road, police said.

According to police, more than 20 passengers were injured in the accident and have been admitted to the hospital.

The buses were travelling from Galle to Ampara and from Tangalle to Matara at the time of the collision.

Police further stated that the injured passengers were admitted to the Matara and Batheegama hospitals for treatment.
